Rathdowney Rodeo
A full rodeo program will be on show Saturday 24th March at the Rathdowney Memorial Grounds. This is a great evening out for the whole family. Food and drinks are available.
 

Rathdowney Heritage Festival
An amazing day out for everyone on Sunday 8th April. Food stalls, produce samples and demonstrations on all day with a wonderful parade at lunchtime at the Memorial Grounds.

Rathdowney Centenary 
Held on the 12-13th of May at the Rathdowney State School this will be a great chance for past students to catch up and also for visitors to the area to find out more about this great little country school.

Cooking Classes at Agnoletto's Cooking School
Desley and Pietro will welcome you to their beautiful cooking school only 15 minutes from Lillydale. Choose from Pasta Veloce where you learn how to make pasta and delicious sauces followed by Crostoli for dessert or Veneto Banquet where you learn traditional dishes from the Veneto region. Minimum of four people per class and $90 per person. All classes include recipe sheets, a glass of local wine, tuition and great company.

Farmtopia
Feed the animals and pick some fruit and vegetables. Farmtopia is Lillydale's next project and will include an indoor area for bushdances or educational talks. 

Someday soon when the trees grow...

Lillydale has just finished planting the 1000+ trees for our maze. It will take a couple of years but the maze has had a helpful boost from nature with the short storms we have had after the initial planting. We will keep you posted with the opening of the maze, for now we will get back to watering. If anyone would like to volunteer to help water the trees during your stay please let us know and we will accept your offer gratefully.
