Adventure Off The farmThe Mt Barney area is a great place to visit. The stunning scenery and calming silence allows visitors to forget their busy lifestyle and simply relax. For your first climb at Mt Barney we advise using a guide as the track can be quite deceptive and there are many experienced bushwalkers who have difficulty finding their way. While staying at Lillydale we can book you in to do a range of activities including Ecotours with Araucaria, Hot air balloon flights, a wine tasting at Barney Creek Vineyards, an alpaca farm tour at the Rathdowney Alpaca Farm, a dairy farm tour at Klan's, cooking classes at the Agnoletto's, an olive oil tasting at the Rathlogan Grove, fishing, canoeing and camping at Bigriggen, rock climbing or camping at Mt Barney Lodge, Flanagan's Reserve has a gorgeous swimming hole and allows dogs at the camping grounds, a life coaching workshop at Thistledown or wood fired pizza at Tuckeroo. Donkey farm visits are also able to be arranged with an adventure tour of the property and an introduction to the friendly donkey family.
